Safety is Our Priority

Campus Safety serves the campus community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Campus safety and security is a shared responsibility led by the Susquehanna University Campus Safety Office. Our primary mission is to provide services for the university community that meet the highest professional standards, promote a safe and healthy environment for community members and campus visitors and support our academic mission.

The office is committed to the principles of honesty, integrity, honor, fairness and respect in our interactions with those we serve.

Title IX

As a member of the university community, you have a responsibility to report behaviors that potentially constitute sexual or gender-based harassment or violence.

Susquehanna University’s Emergency Text Alert System

Students, faculty and staff are automatically entered into the system with data provided to the university, and they can update contact information in the university’s Regroup site with Susquehanna single sign-on credentials. Students can also register parents or supporters to receive text alerts in MyNest. The system is updated daily, and contacts are removed as students and employees graduate, retire and move on.

University Traffic & Parking

Convenient, accessible parking is available on our campus for students, employees and guests, with four public EV chargers located in the parking lot next to the Admission House for conveniently charging electric vehicles.

Operating a vehicle on Susquehanna’s campus is a privilege granted to students, faculty, staff and visitors, who must adhere to university regulations and Pennsylvania state laws. Violations of these rules may result in the denial, suspension or revocation of vehicle privileges.
